Following this he went to Fresno, Calif., where he operated a tire business. It was while here that he married Miss Marion Attig of Ashton, Ill., who died one year later. In 1928 he was united in marriage to Miss Lois Bodurtha of Westfield, Mass. During this time he became associated with the Firestone company and served until his death. A year ago he completed building a home in which he and his companion found much joy and satisfaction.
